ERBAK-ULUDAĞ CELEBRATED ITS 75TH. ANNIVERSARY WITH ITS DISTRIBUTORS
The 75th. anniversary of Erbak-Uludağ, established in 1930, was celebrated at Grand Yazıcı Hotel in Uludağ with its distributors participating from all around Turkey and abroad, between the 6th. and the 8th. of May, 2005.
After having met on Friday the 6th. at the present production plant facilities of Erbak-Uludağ in Bursa, located on Bursa-Yalova motorway, all domestic and international distributors and their family members had a luncheon together at the plant and following the meal the group paid a visit to the new plant site which is presently under construction at the Organized Industrial Zone in Yenice, on the edge of Bursa-Ankara motorway.
Following the visit to the new plant site, the group headed for Grand Yazıcı Hotel in Uludağ where the Distributors Assembly was held. The 75th. assembly was initiated by an opening speech of Mr. Mehmet H. Erbak, head of Board of Directors, on Saturday the 7th. The meeting continued in a very joyful manner when the three oldest distributors, namely Mr. Turhan Sertelli of Kemalpaşa, Mr. İlyas Demirbaş of Kartal/Istanbul and Mr. Abdurrahman Sağdinç of Yalova, shared with the attendants the memories of their first years'distributorship experiences.
The meeting continued with briefings by Mr. Mete Öz, General Manager, and Mr. Ömer Kızıl,Assistant/Marketing to General Manager. In these briefings the subjects of soft drinks industry in general,and the developments took place in Erbak-Uludağ during the year 2004, the evaluation of the first quarter of 2005, marketing activities and introduction of new products were especially emphasized and all related informations were presented to the participating distributors.
The celebrations, on the other hand, went on during Saturday evening with a gala dinner and with a concert performed by the well known Turkish singer, Muazzez Ersoy. During the dinner, the 75th. anniversary cake was cut by the three oldest distributors of the company, Mr. Mehmet H. Erbak, Mrs. Nuran Kızıl, Mr.Levent Kızıl, Mr. Ömer Kızıl and Mr. Nuri Cem Erbak.
The assembly which brought the Erbak-Uludağ's domestic and international distributors and their families together had been a morale source to be able to continue with a successful business life in the summer season ahead. |
